31.

D and I went to the ritz for afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday. We been wanting to try the cucumber sandwiches since the moment we moved to london. we heard rumours that the tradition says that the cucumber needs to be so thin sliced that you can read a news paper trough it. ( you cant see nothing through it in the ritz!)
As a birthday special dieter asked the pianist to play some beyonce for me. :-)
it was a happy 31!

Afternoon tea is a light meal typically eaten between 3pm and 5pm. The custom of drinking tea originated in England when Catherine of Braganza marriedCharles II in 1661 and brought the practice of drinking tea in the afternoon with her from Portugal.[citation needed] Various places that belonged to the formerBritish Empire also have such a meal. However, changes in social customs and working hours mean that most Britons will rarely take afternoon tea, if at all.

Traditionally, loose tea is brewed in a teapot and served in teacups with milk and sugar. This is accompanied by sandwiches (customarily cucumber, egg andcress, fish paste, ham, and smoked salmon), scones (with clotted cream and jam, see cream tea) and usually cakes and pastries (such as Battenberg, fruit cake or Victoria sponge). The food is often served on a tiered stand; there may be no sandwiches, but bread or scones with butter or margarine and optional jam or other spread.[1][2][3]

A formal afternoon tea is, nowadays, usually taken as a treat in a hotel, café or tea shop. In everyday life, many British take a much simpler refreshment consisting of tea and biscuits at teatime.

While living in Woburn Abbey, Anna Maria Russell, Duchess of Bedford, is credited as the first person to have transformed afternoon tea in England into a late-afternoon meal rather than a simple refreshment.[4]

Isabella Beeton describes afternoon teas of various kinds: the old-fashioned tea, the at-home tea, the family tea and the high tea and provides menus.[5]

every morning....

everyday when i wake up... i turn my face on my pillow to the left so i can peek out of my window to see which kind of bird will be sitting this morning on the tree infront of my house.
oh you cant imagine how many birds pass by my house.
the most frequent visitor is the dove. mostly the birds come alone in rare occasions they come in pair.
bon voyage!

i will start the day in THE FOREST OF DOOM

The Forest of Doom
is a single-player roleplaying gamebook written by Ian Livingstone, illustrated by Malcom Barter and originally published in 1983.

Only the mad or the very brave would willingly risk a journey into Darkwood Forest. Yet it is here you must go to find the missing pieces of the legendary Hammer of Stonebridge. Fashioned by the Dwarves many ages ago, only the warhammer can protect peaceful Stonebridge against its ancient doom.

Warned of the monstrous creatures that lurk in Darkwood’s tangled forest, you must first find Yaztromo, the master mage, whose magic may help protect you. But time is short. Can you restore the Hammer before the Trolls destroy Stonebridge for ever?
